    Go-To Sugar Cookies

    These are my favorite cookies to make for everything from shortbread-style treats to cut outs. Recipe Snapshot Serves: ~ 12 Cookies Time: 1 Hour Level: Easy 1 C Room Temperature Butter 1/2 C Sugar 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 1 tsp Almond Extract 1 tsp Butter (if using unsalted butter) 2-2 1/2 C All Purpose Flour In the bowl of a stand mixer beat the butter on a medium speed until smooth.     Cheddar Scones

    These scones are beautifully crumbly and delightfully pair sweet and savory. Recipe Snapshot Serves: 8 Scones Time: 1 hour Level: Medium 1/2 C Butter (1 stick) 1/2 C Buttermilk 1/2 C Sour Cream 2 Eggs, separated 2 3/4 C Flour 1/2 C Sugar 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder 1/2 tsp Baking Soda 1 tsp Salt 2 C Shredded Cheddar Cheese Preheat oven to 350F.
