Pan Seared Salmon

Salmon with garlic, butter, and lemon is honestly one of my favorite foods and it is mind-blowingly easy to make!

Recipe SnapshotServes: 4Time: 30 minutesLevel: Easy

What you’ll need…

1 lb Salmon filets (cut into 4 portions)
2 Tbsp Butter
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
3 Cloves Garlic - minced
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 Lemon - Sliced

Get Cooking…

Preheat oven to 375F and heat an oven safe sauté pan over medium heat on the stove top. (See Note)

In a microwave safe bowl combine butter, olive oil, and garlic. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and microwave again for 30 more seconds.

Brush or spoon the hot garlic mixture over the top of the salmon and season with salt and pepper.

Lay the salmon top side down into the pan – you should hear a sizzle. Let the salmon cook in the pan for about 3-5 minutes or until golden brown bits have formed.

Turn the heat off the on the stove, and flip the salmon over. Lay the lemon slices in the pan in between salmon pieces and place the entire pan in the oven. Finish the cooking in the oven for about 10-15 minutes (depending on thickness of your filets) until the salmon flakes up with a fork. Serve promptly with a fresh slice of lemon, if desired.
